Archery Instruction Classes

The Rapids Archery Club is dedicated to the future of archery and bowhunting. We are committed to doing all we can to see that the next generation of archers and bowhunters get the instruction they need to fully enjoy our great sport.

Introduction to Archery Class 2023
The Rapids Archery Club offers beginning archery classes during the year.

The class is for anyone, ages eight and up, who would like to give archery a try.All archery equipment is provided.

The classes typically typically start in January and June, running for six weeks.

Registration begins approximately 8 weeks before the start of each session. 

These classes are limited in size. 

The Winter Session is FULL. We'll see you in 2024 for the next Winter Session!

There will be a Summer Session; Tickets go on sale Monday June 12th at 12pm CT.

The cost for the Public is $25.00 per person with a family max of $50.00.

The cost for Club Members is Free.

Children must be at least 8 years old to attend the classes.

NOTE:  Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School students:

The Club encourages Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School students to attend the Intro to Archery Class. The Club has merged the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School classes into the Intro to Archery class.

Bow Hunter Education Program & Certification
Minnesota Department of Natural Resources
DATE: Saturday July 29th 2023
TIME: 8:00am to 4:30pm CT

This is a hands-on class. Better than online!!

Learn how to blood trail, treestand safety, and much more.

The Bow Hunter Education Program covers bow hunting techniques, equipment, bowhunting safety, and hunter responsibility.
The Certificate meets the requirement of several states including:
 Alaska, Connecticut, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Vermont.

Also the Canadian Provence's of: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec.
