Archery Instruction Classes

The Rapids Archery Club is dedicated to the future of archery and bowhunting. We are committed to doing all we can to see that the next generation of archers and bowhunters get the instruction they need to fully enjoy our great sport.  These classes are listed on the Calendar page.

Introduction to Archery Class
The Rapids Archery Club offers a beginning archery class during the year. 

 

2022 Classes will be announced in the Fall 2021

The class is for anyone, ages eight and up, who would like to give archery a try.  All archery equipment is provided.

 

The class typically starts in January and runs for six weeks.  This class is limited to the first 50 to register for each session. 

 

The cost for the Public is $25.00 per person with a family max of $50.00. 

 

The cost for Club Members is Free. 

Children must be at least 8 years old to attend the classes.

NOTE:  Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School students:

The Club encourages Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School students to attend the Intro to Archery Class. The Club has merged the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School classes into the Intro to Archery class.

Bowhunter Education Class
This is a NBEF (National Bowhunter Education Foundation) sanctioned bowhunting class.

The classes are scheduled once a year, typical the next class will be in July.\

Youth attending the class must be at least 11 years old on the date of the class.The youth will receive their certificate when they turn 12 years old. 

Cost for the class is $10.00.

Class registration starts at 7:50am with the

class starting at 8:00am and will finish at 4:30pm. Lunch is provided.
