All new members must join as a "Working" member family for the first year. Your dues and required work hours are pro-rated based on the date you join the club. All new members will pay an initiation fee ($27/family) for the first year in addition to membership dues. Work hour requirements depend on the number of active family members 14 yrs. old or older. Members under 14 yrs. old have no effect on the required volunteer hours. If a member fails to put in the required amount of time, they will have to pay the Non-Working Membership dues rate the next year and do the required hours of work time or the membership would be canceled.
Option 1: Working Membership Dues - $32.00
All new club members are required to be working members their first year. The required hours for a Family Membership depend on the number of active participating family members and their age(s). Your dues and required work hours are pro-rated based on the date you join the club.
A family with 1 active member 18 years or older is required to volunteer 20 hours.
A family with 2 active members, with 1 member 18 years or older and 1 active member 14 years or older are required to volunteer 25 hours.
A family with 3 or more active members with 1 member 18 years or older and 2 or more active members 14 years or older are required to volunteer 30 hours.
Option 2: Intermediate Membership - Individual Junior Membership Dues - $32.00
For youth under 18 years old, not joining as part of a regular family membership in option 1 above. No intiation fee is required, not required to join a State Archery Organization. Ten (10) volunteer hours per year are required by an intermediate member or their parent/guardian.
Option 3: Associate Membership Dues - $32.00
This is a supporting membership. For individuals who don't shoot but wish to support the Club. No free archery range use is allowed, no volunteer hours, no initiation fee and not required to join a State Archery Organization.
Non-Working Membership (available after a satisfactory first year) - $134.00
No volunteer hours are required. Free use of the ranges. Not required to join a State Archery Organization.
Club members are required to join one of the State Archery Organizations on your own. Do NOT send their fees in with your clubs dues.
The Minnesota Archers Alliance, MAA, is the NAA and NFAA affiliate in the state of Minnesota. The MAA is a state organization dedicated to promoting and advancing both the sport as a whole, and individual archers using the guidelines of the National Archery Association and the National Field Archery Association.
Minnesota Bowhunters is a state level organization that has been representing, protecting, and promoting bow hunting since 1946.
The mission of the MSAA is the promotion and support of archery in the state of Minnesota.
