NFAA Sectional Tournament
June 18th - 19th, 2022
The NFAA Midwest Outdoor Sectional event is an annual field archery shoot. The Midwest event takes place in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Missouri with each location’s scores combined to determine the overall winner. This event is not required for participation in the NFAA/MN State Field Championship held July 16 or 17, 2022. They are separate events.
The shoot will take place at Rapids Archery Club. The address of the club is 1255 133rd Avenue NW, Andover, MN 55304.
The Midwest Sectional is a two-day event on June 18–19, 2022. On-site registration and official practice opens at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 18th. The event begins with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Note: Any refunds for online registrations will have $5 deducted to cover credit card processing fees.
Archers will shoot 28 hunter targets on Saturday followed by 14 field and 14 animal targets on Sunday. Standard NFAA divisions will apply. NFAA membership is required to compete for awards. Learn more about NFAA membership at www.nfaausa.com/membership.
A guest division will be provided. There will be no awards in the guest division, and all guests will compete together.
Summer Intro to Archery Class 2022
Thursdays June 23rd - July 28th, 2022
If you’ve ever wanted to try the sport of archery, this course is for you!
The class is for anyone, ages eight and up, who would like to give archery a try.All archery equipment is provided.
The classes typically typically start in January and June, running for six weeks.
Registration begins approximately 8 weeks before the start of each session.
These classes are limited in size.
The Summer Session will begin on June 23rd.
The cost for the Public is $25.00 per person with a family max of 50.00.
The cost for Club Members is Free.
Children must be at least 8 years old to attend the classes.
NOTE: Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School students:
The Club encourages Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School students to attend the Intro to Archery Class. The Club has merged the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School classes into the Intro to Archery class.
Bow Hunter Education Program & Certification

This is a hands-on class. Better than online!! Learn how to blood trail, treestand safety, and much more.
The Bow Hunter Education Program covers bowhunting techniques, equipment, bowhunting safety, and hunter responsibility.
The Certificate meets the requirement of several states including, Alaska, Connecticut, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Vermont. Also the Canadian Provence's of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec. .

ARCHERY LEAGUES FOR ALL SKILLS
Club Leagues (Members Only):
We offer Summer, Fall, and Winter leagues for Members Only. See the club's Calendar for dates and times for the leagues.
Summer Bowhunter League
When: Tuesday evenings starting in May and continues for ten weeks.
NFAA Summer League
When: Tuesday evenings starting in May.
Fall Bowhunter League
Tuesday evenings immediately after the Summer League and continues for ten weeks.
Winter Indoor Leagues
Winter leagues run from November through March with the Vegas League on Monday evening, with two 300 Leagues on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Check our calendar for specifics.
Sunday evenings starting in January to the end of March.
