Archery Instruction Classes
The Rapids Archery Club is dedicated to the future of archery and bowhunting. We are committed to doing all we can to see that the next generation of archers and bowhunters get the instruction they need to fully enjoy our great sport.

Introduction to Archery Class 2024
The Rapids Archery Club offers beginning archery class during the year.
If you’ve ever wanted to try the sport of archery, this course is for you!
The class is for anyone, ages eight and up, who would like to give archery a try.
• Ages 8 to 100. Bring Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa!
• No experience needed! You will learn from courteous, knowledgeable instructors.
• All equipment is provided. (Or bring your own)
• Each week will build on the fundamentals of good archery form.
Beginning Saturday, January 6th - February 10th, 2024
The class runs for six weeks.
Registration begins approximately 8 weeks before the start of each session, and is open now; see Registration link below.
These classes are limited in size, so register early!
The cost for the Public is $TBD per person with a family max of $TBD.
The cost for Club Members is Free.
Children must be at least 8 years old to attend the classes.
NOTE: Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School students:
The Club encourages Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School students to attend the Intro to Archery Class. The Club has merged the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Home School classes into the Intro to Archery class.

Bowhunter Education Class
This is a NBEF (National Bowhunter Education Foundation) sanctioned bowhunting class.
The classes are scheduled once a year, typical the next class will be in July.
Youth attending the class must be at least 11 years old on the date of the class.
The youth will receive their certificate when they turn 12 years old.
